Sarah Rose Siskind is a science comedy writer and psychedelic comedian who came by to tell us about how she hosted a "Psychedelic Shiva" after October 7th (which she also wrote about for Psychology Today). We also discuss how drugs may have influenced Nova festival survivors, why Chaya Leah and Yael need to go on a “trip” to Auschwitz, and proposing to her fiancé Nick Gillespie at Burning Man.

What an episode! With all the shit going on literally everywhere not only was this episode like a balm, but contained a possible solution. Psychedelics 😂
But seriously, so interesting. Israel is at the forefront of research in this area apparently, especially with ptsd with soldiers. I can only imagine how powerful it might be post Oct 7. Another brilliant episode. Kol hakavod 🩵🩵🩵🩵🙏🙏🙏
This completely blew my mind (don't worry, I am not on psychedelics at the moment 😁). I have wrestled with how to disclose how psychedelics helped me find my belief in the G-d of the Torah and not the hellfire-and-brimstone G-d of Christianity (that G-d was beat in to my head for the first 30 years of life). I am on my path of conversion to Judaism because of 🍄. I tried therapy for years and it never helped me. Years of meditation post-Christianity helped me settle my mind and heal my acute suffering but nothing helped me dissolve my ego and find Hashem like psychedelics did- and it was almost instantly. Thank you for this episode 🫶🏻 !
