Were you in Brooklyn last week when you suddenly felt the holy spirit in your presence? Perhaps you suddenly saw the image of Moses in your toasted bagel? If so, it’s because your favorite Jews were roaming the streets IRL!
Chaya Leah and I got together for the opening ceremony of the Fifth Column Olympics, where we chatted with many of you and let’s face it, probably all gave each other Covid. Thank you to those who came up and said they love the show, and those who didn’t - we all know you are holocaust deniers deep down inside.
Speaking of Holocaust deniers, have you rated us on Apple podcasts yet? Because if not our ancestors may haunt you, they’ve done it before.
In this week’s quick episode Chaya Leah breaks down the Jewish parts of Brooklyn (think West Side Story, but in Yiddish), we discuss over-ordering at a Kosher Chinese restaurant, and assess the hotness of one Hugh Grant.
Stay tuned for next week’s episode, we had some up-and-coming young star on who is trying to break into the business, so we thought we’d hear him out. Here is a photo of us taken by the wonderful Nancy.
Anyway, you guys know the drill from here. Please share this if you want to help us grow, and leave us a comment if you want to discuss anything. I’ll leave you with a rare image of an Orthodox woman outside of her natural habitat, inspecting the modern garb of the local women (Manhattan, 2022). xo, Y
Always worth a listen! A friend and I have a small YouTube show and went to our first convention and people recognized us and it was surreal. You two are way better (and more mainstream) than us and are doing way more relatable work! It looks like a wonderful week together.
You girls are the best!
