I appreciated hearing Seth’s take on MK. She’s not exactly dead to me, because she has been a very firm supporter of Jews and even Israel for the most part. But I agree with him that there’s a way to criticize your friends’ wrong statements without actually unfriending them. Brandon Tatum did exactly that on Triggernometry this week, when he said Candace is like a sister to him but that she’s completely wrong where her views on Jews and Israel are concerned. He was clearly deeply unhappy about the things Candace says.
A rabbi officiated my valid Catholic marriage in a synagogue and invited the priest to do a blessing (the reform Rabbi would not do into a Catholic church but the priest was willing to go to shul). A priest might be willing to concelebrate with a rabbi in a church so that would be a way to make that happen in a canonically valid way.
This was a great episode. Chaya Leah, I really appreciate you bringing up the fact Jews who are more "visibly Jewish" have a particularly difficult time right now in regards to antisemitism. I know for myself that wearing something that marks me as a Jew out in public is hard to do. My husband and son both wear yarlmulkes, and we get lots of glares these days. It's become very uncomfortable. I've never felt this on edge about what other people around me think, and worrying about my physical safety if they hate Jews and take it out on me or my family. It feels like the world is becoming even more narrow, with Jew hatred from the left and the right.
Is it fair to call the Babylon Bee "conservative Christian"? Just because the owner of an outlet is something doesn't make that outlet that. And most pieces I've read I wouldn't know that I'd say they're Christian per se.

I guess, if the owner describes it as such, I'll mostly accept it. I will say, it's very spiritually Israeli though!
