I’m going to defend older women for a moment. I think some older women age incredibly well, and some do not. The same is completely true for men.

There are numerous famous women who are in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s who are gorgeous, including some that we don’t even tend to think of as being “of a certain age.” For example, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Angela Bassett, and Martha Stewart (who’s over 80 and glowing!) For every Ringo Starr and Harrison Ford, there are hunks of yesteryear who don’t have the same appeal they used to.

Men’s bodies change, most men lose their hair, their skin wrinkles. As with women, so much of it comes down to luck, genetics, health, lifestyle, and how much effort you’re willing to put into your appearance.

This was so sweet but my favorite part was ChayaLeah and Winston taking turns saying “ugh” when yael brought up Meghan and Harry 🤣

Wonderful episode. Great to hear the conversation. Saturday sounds amazing, but I’m on the wrong coast for it. May it be a lot of fun!

I’ve done the research and taken the DNA test and I in no way qualify for Birthright (also, I’m an old guy) but I would love to go to Israel someday. My wife would be a hard sell right now, though I’d be game. However, happy wife, happy life, so I will have to hope for a future Ask A Jew tour, which would be awesome!

Great episode and so happy to hear the jokes and humour coming back to the front!

I second the defense of older women. There are really beautiful old women to be found, in their 80’s. Rare but real. And not necessarily having had surgery 🤗

Thank you for bringing Sir Lord Winton Marshall on the show. He was interesting to listen to and his commitment to honesty and truth are inspiring. His description of the post-October 7th experience on the tube was heartbreaking. And you know how you told your guest how much us Jews appreciate people who stand up for us? You do know that that list includes the two of you. In my experience of the United State post-October 7th, you two are warriors for those of us not physically fighting but who live in blue cities like NYC. Thank you!

Great episode! I have never been to Israel, and I would definitely join a "podcast trip" if you ever organized it! And about that, can you suggest reliable organizations who are looking for volunteers in Israel? I am looking for something meaningful for my 18 yo son for the summer. Thank you!
