A failed meditation, a succesful trip to Israel (it's all fine now), and the moral confusion about rapes that aren't planned but just kind of happen. Scroll down for a fun game!
Hi Chaya Leah, I have a question since this is Ask A Jew and I’m a secular sinful Jew who isn’t as up on the Talmud as you. You mention that Jews who die al Kiddush Hashem are the holiest Jews, as they died for being Jewish. There were some people in Israel who were murdered on October 7 who were not Jewish, for example, laborers from countries like Thailand and the Philippines. Do Jewish scholars have any wisdom about how Jews should think about gentiles who were killed due to antisemitism?
The section where you’re talking about language being meaningless have me an idea for a skit:
What if Hamas spoke using the actual meanings of words college Hamasniks obfuscate.
“Yes, we will launch a campaign of mass rape against Israel where we will round up their soldiers and strip them to ensure they’re not hiding weapons. We shall ethnically cleanse each and every one after we give them fair warning, broadcast our intentions, and validate that they are directly responsible for violence against our people.”
It's appalling all the "L's" showed their affiliation as some university or another so I might have expected better of them. But what should I have more reasonably expected, given the pre Enlightenment, postmodernist views that apparently prevail on campuses? When I Googled the "R's", none of which I recognized except Duke, they were all connected to some flavor of white supremacists, in other words, people I wouldn't expect to do anything else.
Wow I did pretty badly on the antisemitism game. That either proves, a) I am a complete dim bulb who shouldn't be commenting on anything, or b) I am a genius because my view that not only is politics a horseshoe shape, but one where both sides have been crushed together is totally accurate.
In lieu of the holocaust bell, may I propose: the genocide clicker.

It’s time to stop putting people into L/R & other stupid categories that are meaningless
Does tend to confirm the horseshoe theory though I agree that labels are murky lately.
Omg. Loved the antisemitism game 😂😂😂

The “critics” of AAJ have just given us a name: the Zionist Misinformation Brigades, or ZoMBies for short!
