Our UK government refuses to secure our borders, and positively invites fighting age young men from countries - without wars & with very different cultures - to do wtf they want, especially around women. The govt is funding the invasion, and the invaders, without the consent of the electorate. So, is Starmer arsed about protecting any other country's borders & people. I don't agree with Trump's dick swinging - & low key cowardly - approach to Ukraine but I'm sceptical about the despicable Keir Stasi's sudden love for secure borders & national autonomy.
I also agree with Eli Lake. Israel and Ukraine are fighting for the ideals of the West. They share common foes in Russia and Iran and China by extension.
To Eli’s point that antizionism is the new “current thing” or “monocause” I disagree. In my lifetime BLM is the only one that I think even compares, and yet the difference in degree is massive. Antizionism has been more global, more persistent, and (somehow) way more emotional. I think we’re in uncharted waters and I’m not holding my breath for a new monocause to overtake antizionism anytime soon

My goal this week is to now use “arsed about” in a conversation

These show notes might just be better than TFC's.
Zelenskyy is way more attractive than Vance it’s honestly funny to even make the comparison IMO

This was a fantastic episode! I loved hear Eli Lakes thoughts about the Trump/Zelensky White House rift.
