Chaya Leah you really shone this episode, for me anyway. The way you spoke about Judaism as a treasure with so much to give, I loved that so much. Since Oct 7 I have started including the priestly blessing over children on Shabbat. I love saying it so much. And even though my daughter is 18, she becomes quite still for that second. I am not religious and I just live the perspective you bring🩵
Last night at Shevuot,I was trying to decide between listening to Noam and Mike Pesca, versus Rabbi Telushkin. I chose Telushkin , as I have heard him many times before, but I should've chosen the former. Oh well.
I listened to Rabbi Wolpe next, which was awesome.
This interview was exceptional! I always love hearing ChayaLeah talk about the future of Jewish identity, the value of Judaism for young people, and building a happy, healthy community. Your political analysis in this episode is particularly cogent and compelling. You introduced a lot of arguments that I hadn't heard before but which I think are spot on: particularly, it may be that Trump would be the better defender of Israel, but if he'd been in office, this would have just been another partisan train wreck that brokered no room for dissent within the parties. He would have leaned into the ugly anti-Muslim rhetoric and policy that would have, to some extent, validated the reactionary opposition to him and his support of Israel.

I’m blushing.
Sorry, no blushing in radio ;)
You'd never get game like this on an npr (for instance)
