I got off of all social media during the pandemic but got back on Facebook after October 7th to troll UNRWA. In fact you might know me from my many UNRWA posts where I voice concern that Sinwar and his buddies have run out of tampons because a pretty girl like Sinwar doesn't want to leave a blood trail in a tunnel, as that would be a real tragedy. Other than that, I too watch a lot of Facebook Reels but with Orthodox Jewish men dancing - mostly in circles but it's mesmerizing.

Yael, I have a Rabbi (Angela Buchdahl) for you! I belong to her synagogue and she's kind of rockstar and her sermons are outstanding.

You two make me laugh more than anyone but also because I mostly listen to very serious Jews or unfunny Republicans, regardless, you guys are the best! Thanks!!!

I could listen to ChayaLeah talk about Judaism all day (or at least for an hour every week or so.) It's so important to be practice gratitude and participate in community, especially when the wider world is so full of sadness and brokenness.

Had to jump on here and thank Chaya Leah for her story about the simple Jews and the diamond merchant. I don’t know, obviously, if your MiL would have done a better job telling it, but it really resonated with me. So I’m super glad you shared it! (And just think of what I would have missed out on, if you had let your humility keep you from retelling it!)

I know serious things have been discussed but just got to the food chains bit and am bewitched by the idea of a soup buffet.

There really needs to be some kind of 6 degrees of Nancy for substack. I feel like no matter how I come across a pod, its just a matter of time before I find out she is a "friend of the pod". Maybe I should just skip to the punchline and whenever I am looking for a new pod to follow just look for Nancy as a guest and chances are I can just smash that subscribe button and get on with my day. :D

What I heard is I don't have to wash my hands if I don't eat bread, which I don't.

I had no idea about the church restrictions! I thought that was only a Jehovah’s Witness thing.
