Great podcast ladies! I think we all suffer from the impostor syndrome crisis of confidence thing from time to time. I think Yael hit it right on the head when she said that we all have our comfort zones that we feel confident in and then we have areas that we feel like we haven't got a clue.
I've been trying to impart to my kids the idea about always try to be working on some aspect of yourself as Chaya Leah brought up. I’m not asking them to study or work out 24/7, but I’m trying to encourage them to just always have a list of goals to work on when they are bored (and the goals could be anything that's important to them - so it could be anything). But how Chaya Leah spoke about it really resonated with me because I didn’t really start looking at life that way until I was in my late 30's. I also think that the drive to do that comes later in life to most people too. Most of us don't know which way is up until we've been around for awhile - that's what makes those over-achieving-blessed-with-early-inspiration-touched-by-talent-bastards special.
I still have a problem getting anything done because anytime I try to concentrate for more than 40 seconds I get called to do something else. Mostly that happens when I try to write something, but that’s why I like listening to podcasts and audio books. I rarely have time to sit and read or write (I dictated this into my phone), but I have a much easier time listening to things ,while i'm doing all the work or domestic tasks on my plate (always at 1.5-2x speed, of course).

PS. - Couldn't agree more with Yael about any of the extreme people on either side of the argument. I'm an actual cop and I feel so eye-rolly about the "We Support Cops No Matter What" crowd. They make it as hard to have a conversation as the ACAB Aholes.
