I really loved the episode. Rabbi Perlmutter has so much wisdom to share. I’m not a person of faith, but I’m not against faith and I am always grateful to hear from someone who has so much insight, discipline, humor and love. Thank you.

I love the photo of Machu Picchu. I never walked the Inka Trail (private chef or not), but I visited the site in 1984 when I was in high school and had spent the summer with an exchange program living with a family on the coast. That location is amazing and awe inspiring. I hope one day to return and take my family (probably again no private chef) but until then, I appreciate that others are getting the experience. Peru is an amazing place.

Wishing you continued success, love and laughter.

I just subscribed because I've been listening to your podcast for free and that seems wrong! I really enjoy your perspectives and I've learned a great deal about my own religion and culture from listening. I have a technical issue though. As is typical of we Jews, you guys are constantly interrupting each other and talking over one another. I wouldn't care, but I don't hear what's being said! This little idiosyncrasy would be endearing in person, but it doesn't work on a podcast. Also, one of you dominates the conversation and the other can't get a word in edgewise. Writing this makes me laugh, because I am typically the latter in conversations with other Jews, but like I said, it's frustrating on the podcast because I don't want to miss a word. Sending lots of love!

I love Chaya Leah’s dad. This was so much fun. I loved when Rabbi Perlmutter threw cold water on Chaya Leah wanting everyone to stay married 🤣 100% agree on praying coach. I thought that was a great ruling for Jews. Thank you, rabbi!

Three things: 1) love your podcast! 2) I was supposed to be with Wilderness Adventure on 5 day hike to Machu Picchu with my 16 year old son but we had to cancel because he got into drum Corp but as a vegetarian would have loved to be on that trip with somebody who bought new pans! 3) concerning your wonderful father’s comment on prayer on the field, I have to disagree. As a Jew who grew up in a Catholic community, I would always feel left out but my husband had it way worse. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest where Bremerton is and Bremerton is a very “white” place. If you do not get in that prayer scrum there will be questions. And if you do not join in the prayer, you will not be in the starting line up next week. You will be an outsider. It was not a single person praying in a non threatening way. It was a call to prayer and you can look at the pictures and see for yourself. It is especially dangerous combined with the almost 40% of the country believing in the big lie and believing God should be in public institutions. Thanks for reading and I will keep listening!
